ABOUT
KNMP

Heritage, Unity,
Pan-Africanism

The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park (KNMP) is one of Ghana’s most important national heritage sites.

Play

Located in Accra, the park honours Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President and a leading figure in Africa’s independence movement.

The park stands as a symbol of freedom, unity, and Pan-Africanism, marking the place where Ghana’s journey to independence was shaped. It also serves as the final resting place of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and his wife, Fathia Nkrumah.

KNMP is more than a historical site — it is a space for learning, reflection, and national pride, welcoming both local and international visitors.
